Building on the foundation created by the Tuina/Anmo program, the Acupuncture program is a unique program that is a condensed version of the 4-year programs offered at TCM universities in China. Students learn to practice the ancient art of Acupuncture and gain a solid understanding of the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach to health care. Clinical internship courses provide students with opportunities to observe the operations of a TCM clinic including the interactions between senior interns and clinical supervisors with patients during interviews, diagnosis and treatments. They will also learn to conduct supervised patient evaluations and diagnosis as well as conducting acupuncture treatments on patients and formulating herbal prescriptions.
